Tiny Badger Ceramics is a small-batch production ceramics studio based in San Diego, California. Founded in 2015 by Heather McCalla, Tiny Badger creates handmade, functional wares for the home and table. The forms and textures are drawn from vintage glassware that Heather has collected over the years, bringing new life - and a modern twist - to these classic forms.
All wares are porcelain and are made using the process of ceramic slip casting. The slip is tinted in a variety of colors, and the finished wares are left unglazed on the exteriors to showcase the silky, matte finish of the clay. Interior surfaces are finished in a glossy white glaze, highlighting and complementing the clean simple lines of the forms. All Tiny Badger wares are food-safe, dishwasher-safe, oven-safe, and microwave-safe.
