We established our business in 2009 after graduating from the School for American Crafts at Rochester Institute of Technology and have since focused our efforts on creating an easily accessible resource for everyday folks to attain uniquely designed home decor as well as custom pieces.
We found a great industrial building in downtown Rochester that was just the place for us to set up shop, and built the equipment in our studio from the ground up.
In January 2016 we moved our house and studio 850 miles away from the industrial surround of Rochester New York and to the rolling hills of southern Illinois. The new location has given us more studio space, brought us closer to family and expanded our ability to attend art shows that were previously too far away.
Currently, our spare time is spent fixing up the pole barn home that we purchased here in southern IL. During the spring and summer months we maintain our 4,200sqft garden, can excess vegetables and make lots of jellies. We have enjoyed raising five chickens this year for the first time. Our future aspirations include opening a small gift shop at the top of our property and learning the craft of brewing beer. So stay tuned!
